ESRI is sponsoring Tech Fest Expo in Houston to raise awareness of both safe lithium-ion battery recycling and STEM careers in safety science research.

Vice President and Executive Director of ESRI, Dr. Judy Jeevarajan, will discuss the safe recycling of Lithium-ion batteries, which can’t be recycled like other types of batteries.

The Electrochemical Safety Research Institute (ESRI) and Tech Fest Live engage students over the summer with a lithium-ion battery recycling competition in the Houston area.
