The Electrochemical Safety Research Institute (ESRI) will collect lithium-ion batteries for recycling research, while educating Houston-area students about careers in STEM, at Tech Fest Live’s Go Pro Day.

ESRI is sponsoring Tech Fest Expo in Houston to raise awareness of both safe lithium-ion battery recycling and STEM careers in safety science research.

Vice President and Executive Director of ESRI, Dr. Judy Jeevarajan, will discuss the safe recycling of Lithium-ion batteries, which can’t be recycled like other types of batteries.
